Primary Function
The Production Assistant contacts potential customers to discuss to establish their interest in New Penn’s products. Any interested customers will then be transferred to a licensed Mortgage Consultant. Production Assistants are trained on what they can discuss with potential consumers based on their licensing status along as it relates to state and federal laws.

Responsibilities
• Participates and completes all New Penn training & skills development programs
• Contacts and transfers customers interested in New Penn products to licensed Mortgage Consultants
• Ensures compliance to state and federal policies during all contacts with potential customers
• Completes customer transfer forms
• Studies applicable material and pass state licensing examinations of one per month
• Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Education and Experience Requirements
• Two year (2) college degree preferred or equivalent experience
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements
• Persuasive, selling communication skills
• Connect quickly with people in an outgoing, friendly manner
• Complete work quickly and accurately
• Be effective in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail
• Careful decision-making skill with ability to follow policy & avoid mistakes
• Speak, write, listen and organize well
• Work independently with minimal supervision
