Responsibilities
Principal Duties:
• Record and track Smart Series loan scenarios using New Penn’s CRM
• Determine if borrower scenarios are suitable for the Smart Series products
• Structure Smart Series scenarios to give the borrower the best opportunity to receive an underwriting approval and to give the borrower the best possible product and rate
• Recommend qualified scenarios for submission to New Penn underwriting and prevent known scenarios that do not warrant submission from going in line for underwriting
• Develop relationships with existing and prospective brokers and bankers and their loan officers and processors within all divisions of New Penn including call center, retail, joint ventures, wholesale, or correspondent as assigned by management of Non-QM Lending
• Train internal and external sales teams on the advantages, niches, and guidelines of the Smart Series products to increase originations
• Assist in pipeline management
• Manage expectations of all parties and communicate positivity regarding the company at all times
• Maintain familiarity with regulatory and industry standards and requirement
Primary Function:
• Ability to analyze, structure, and document complex loan scenarios including income, assets, and credit for borrowers with a variety of circumstances
• Ability to consistently record and track scenarios using a CRM and assist with existing pipeline issues as they arise using the company’s LOS to document the same
• Desire and capability to grow business opportunities within a defined sales territory or assignment by training internal and external individuals and teams and providing a positive lending experience
• Must have the ability to captivate and communicate with various audiences
• Must be flexible and willing to learn the call center, retail, joint venture, wholesale, or correspondent mortgage business depending on the specific assignment for which you are hired or assigned in order to provide exceptional customer experience
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills with internal Account Executives, operations/underwriting staff and external brokers, bankers, loan officers, and processors
• Ability to effectively manage expectations and communicate positivity to put the company in the best possible light during challenging periods of time
• Ability to comprehend regulatory and industry standards and pass periodic class assignments
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• The ideal candidate will have 5-years’ experience in the mortgage industry in sales, account management and underwriting with experience interacting with brokers, bankers, loan officers, processors, and a lender’s operations’ staff
• You will be a part of a dynamic and productive team that focuses on providing the best customer service for all parties using in-depth product knowledge, analytical skills, and exceptional communication
