Description
• Responsible for evaluating and monitoring an assigned portfolio for purposes of credit quality, risk management and/or portfolio analysis.
• Identified credit quality issues, potential portfolio risks and/or economic risk.
• Monitors the portfolio for compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluates and reports on the portfolio performance and forecasts future performance trends.
• Informs management of potential credit and/or economic portfolio risk and recommends strategies to minimize the risk.
• Maintains all documentation on the assigned portfolio.
• Works with various bank personnel in developing strategies that support portfolio objectives.
• Responsible for Credit reviewing/underwriting of new business in support of a team of HTF Sales Representatives.
• Responsibility for other ad hoc projects.
• Comply with all Huntington National Bank policies.
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 5-7 years prior credit experience with a bank or commercial finance company.
• Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
• Ability to Credit review financial statement transactions.
• Leasing experience is preferred.
• MBA or MSF is preferred.
• Experience spreading financial statements and risk rating companies.
• Solid communication skills.
• Completion of a Bank Credit training program.
• Strong writing skills.
• Ability to handle a variety of transactions, some of which require complex and unique structures.
• Assist sales representatives with structuring transactions for prospective lessees.
• Responsibility for the overall credit quality of a lease portfolio.
• Make decisions on credit requests within authority limits.
• Make recommendations on credit requests above existing authority.
