Accountabilities:
Perform administrative and project support functions/activities for the Americas Research & Strategy Team including:
• Process new user setup for enterprise wide data subscriptions and existing user removal when necessary
• Plan Research on and off-site meetings and events as needed - ensure rooms are arranged, create agenda, handle logistics such as hotels, meals or audio visual
• Aid in coordination and logistics of senior position interviews for candidates – scheduling, travel, expensing, etc.
• Aid in the onboarding process of new hires within the Americas Research team
• Research team project work and project management (as needed)
• Maintain Research contact lists, organizational charts, distribution lists for Research and coordinate with respective parties to keep the Research Connect site updated
• Process expense reports in a timely manner and in accordance with firm policy
• Process vendor invoice payment for subscriptions and services in accordance with firm policy
Perform tasks involving property technology and innovation research including:
• Monitor key commercial real estate technology and innovation themes, trends, and companies -manage all research collected
• Interact with and assist the Director of Property Technology and Innovation Research
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of technology and innovation presentations for Americas Research technology leaders
Required Attributes & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree and a demonstrated interest in commercial real estate
• Great communication skills and a positive presence
• High level of professionalism
• Integrity as a team player
• Ability to work for and communicate in various forms with multiple level managers, supervisors, external clients and vendors with minimal daily supervision.
• Display curiosity and interest in understanding our Research business
• Interest and knowledge of the property technology and innovation space in commercial real estate
• Be respected as a key resource and contributor
• Discretion and professionalism when given access to confidential and/or private information.
• Highly motivated; with a capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills with proven attention to detail
• Ability to complete projects on time
