Job Description:
The Senior Marketing Coordinator (SMC) will report to the Manager of Marketing in MA. The SMC will be responsible for coordinating, supporting and executing marketing strategy and activities for BlumShapiro with the goal of increasing business leads, revenue and brand awareness. Primary duties will involve coordinating all marketing initiatives for the Massachusetts offices including branding, advertising, digital marketing, research, events and public relations. Specific responsibilities include the following:
• Coordination of marketing initiatives for the Massachusetts offices
• Coordinate and monitor all approved marketing projects
• Coordinate event logistics for firm sponsorships, meetings, speaking engagements, seminars/conferences, tradeshows, webinars, exhibits and other off-site activities
• Develop/maintain marketing collateral
• Monitor and maintain continuity of brand in messages and materials
• Work closely with the internal marketing team, as well as managing external vendor relationships
• Coordinate the creation and promotion of video’s and article content
• Create, track and monitor inbound and outbound email campaigns to ensure optimal results
• Assist in content curation, development and oversight
• Create digital campaigns using the HubSpot platform
• Coordinate/create graphic elements for emails, collateral and social media
• Assist with contact list development and maintenance
• Assist with marketing related research
Experience and Skills:
• Present a professional image interacting with clients, guests and internal customers
• Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all types of personalities
• Effective presentation, project management, prioritization, multitasking, organizational and time management skills
• Required knowledge of the marketing function
• Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Photoshop
• Proficient with social media platforms and concepts
• Aptitude for learning new marketing technologies
• Basic knowledge of online marketing
• Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation systems
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Driven personality that takes initiative and can work autonomously.
• Organized but flexible work style
• Collaborative working style to interface with multiple business partners
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communications or related field is required. A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience. Professional service experience a plus.
