Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for the servicing of OFI’s Subadvisory & DCIO distribution team, including all after-market service, support, and client management to ensure a best in class client experience. Specific expertise in client servicing and relationship management in subadvisory, VIT, and retirement product offerings will be essential.
This position requires a unique individual who has capabilities in relationship management, servicing, product, and project management. This is a fast paced and high intensity position that requires exceptional attention to detail, tenacity and resourcefulness.
Responsibilities & Deliverables:
• After-market client service and support for assigned distribution channels and clients within the channels
• Relationship management and cultivation to differentiate the client experience for internal and external constituents
• Assist the Relationship Managers with the cross-sales process which includes but is not limited to the RFP lifecycle, facilitation of presentation materials, and proactively sourcing opportunities
• Maintain on-going dialogue and high level of engagement with Account Managers, as well as our clients to build long term relationships and understand their needs
• Partner with multiple internal departments to champion and coordinate client and regulatory reporting and deliverables. This will require someone with the ability to understand all aspects of our client’s account from an operational, legal, compliance and any subadvisory, mutual fund and variable annuity product related issues
• Lead initiatives and activities on behalf of the Distribution teams
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual materials for client reporting, due diligence, and ad-hoc client requests in a extensively detailed and thorough manner
• Lead preparation, execution and debrief activities for client conference calls and on-site visits for investment or compliance due diligence reviews hosted by Account Managers
• Coordinate and direct activities of Account Managers ensuring they are briefed on all client issues prior to any meetings
• Partner with the rest of the Client Service team to proactively think of ways that we as a team can enhance the overall client experience, increase efficiencies and provide best in class client service
Qualifications
Key Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Series 7 and 63 required
• 5 years minimum of asset management experience, which includes but not limited to client relationship management, client servicing, project management, and career progression
• Knowledge of subadvisory, DCIO and retirement client servicing and platforms required
• Knowledge of financial markets, institutional markets, and product vehicles with a focus on developing product knowledge and competitive analysis skills
• Excellent organizational skills with consistent attention to detail and ability to work with tight deadlines
• Professional presence, ability to present and interact with clients, investment professionals or senior level executives, business acumen, and service oriented attitude
• Demonstrated leadership behaviors that create ability to coordinate and execute client deliverables independently or through others
• Knowledge of traditional business software programs and high comfort level with technology
• Ability to create, build, and maintain positive working relationships
• Ability to work in a flexible team environment across two locations with travel up to 25%
