The Opportunity
The Transaction Coordinator plays an important role in the organization by performing, under direct supervision, a number of activities related to assisting originators coordinate loan files throughout the purchase transaction. This role may perform duties from contract acceptance to final loan document duties.
Responsibilities
• Ordering of third party items
• Appraisal
• Title report and fees
• HOA documents
• Assist members in locking loans and paying for appraisal fees.
• Manage loans to ensure we meet appropriate contingency, closing and funding dates.
• Monitor key dates related to loan transactions and respond accordingly.
• Provide status updates to referral sources on active loans.
• Provide any necessary administrative assistance through production and underwriting process.
• Answer member inquiries related to active loan, and/or loan application status.
• Provide any necessary administrative assistance through production and underwriting process.
• Work with processing and underwriting in planning to meet important dates in the transaction to ensure we meet expectations of members and real estate community.
• Update TBD conditions when they become out of date.
• Assist member in appraisal reconsideration of values.
• Track approved condo projects.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-3 years total experience in Mortgage lending or related field.
Competencies Required
• Ability to manage multiple priorities; strong detail orientation and highly organized.
• Works with a strong sense of urgency and responsiveness.
• Passionate about delivering excellence in customer service.
