Description
The Business Banking Treasury Sales Specialist 1 (TSS1) is responsible for selling Treasury Solutions (Cash Management, Commercial Cards) to new and existing clients $500 - $5mm sales revenue size companies. Their time is a mix of in-office client facing sales role with the goal of handling a high volume of deals that are generally small and not overly complex.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the client to gain greater efficiencies in their cash flow cycle.
• Provide training support to assist the RM1 team they support improve their understanding of Treasury products and solutions to ensure we are recommending the best products to serve the customers needs, which will vary based on the teams skill set, level of understanding and turnover among the RM teams the TSS1 supports.
• Partner with RM1's and existing or new clients via phone or in person to sell Treasury Solutions products and services.
• Maintaining strong pipeline to ensure sales goals will be achieved.
• Act as a Trusted Advisor to clients; understand their working capital needs and recommend solutions to meet those needs.
• Ensure sales process is being followed, including timely updating of pipeline and calling activity within the bank’s CRM system on a regular basis and no less than a weekly basis prior to providing forecasting updates, pro-formas, RFP’s and quality, professional client presentations
• Monitor implementations on a weekly basis to insure they are on track within the implementation process through set up and training and inquire on any opportunities that appear off track or delayed for any reason.
Qualifications
• 1-3 years of Cash management sales experience preferred
• Strong communications skills, consultative, solutions-based selling.
• Demonstrates integrity and honesty.
• Strong work ethic, self-directed and motivated to achieve results.
• Must be aggressive, self-starter, goal-oriented.
• Able to recognize customer needs, link solutions to need, and act on customer readiness to buy.
• Gain trust and confidence of others. Always puts the client first.
Education:
• Bachelors Degree Preferred
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm
