Currently, we are seeking a Project Management Account Lead to join an account team to support a client in East Hanover, NJ and can be located in the greater NY, NJ, CT area
Essential Functions:
• Directing all project management, occupancy planning and move management activities according to assigned local, region, or national assignment by leading a decentralized team for successful project implementation and achieving contractual key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Ability to coach and lead large, diverse teams by managing standards of excellence through Project Management Team Leads, thru training and developing Jones Lang LaSalle team members in the skills and understanding of firm procedures, methodology and best practices.
• Maintain client relationships and manage conflict resolution by identifying and addressing areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk (fee, our reputation, errors and omissions, etc.) to Account Manager and contribute on as-needed basis to specific projects and support of the client’s real estate team.
• Lead the integration of the Project Management team with other service lines within the account (Facility Management, Finance, etc).
• Oversee project implementation and execution through completion by providing appropriate level of on-site supervision to ensure project performance criteria are being met.
• Oversee project team’s capital improvement/asset preservation programs with design and construction processes at multiple sites through local resources by ensuring accurate management of all accounts receivables to maintain a level not to exceed planned working capital charge as set by corporate finance and the Regional Operations Manager.
• Manage team’s responsibility to provide technical support; project budgeting and scheduling including Owner’s goals & objectives, site improvements, entitlements & permits, consultant selection; design team management, schedule creation and management, contractor selection and management, financial management including cash flows, anticipated cost reports and monthly reports.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all PDS technology (OVP) as required for assigned projects.
• Comply with all Jones Lang LaSalle policies and procedures, including but not limited to ethics and business practice.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
• Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in managing design and construction of multiple projects across a broad geography
• Highly organized and analytical individual with experience leading individuals and running numerous medium and large ground-up development, major redevelopment and corporate interiors projects simultaneously across a national platform
• Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to develop and cultivate professional business relationships with existing and prospective clients, landlords, developers, institutional owners
• A strong working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, scheduling and process as they relate to corporate real estate
• Flexibility with work hours; frequent domestic and international travel will be required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Project software
Minimum Required Education:
• Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management strongly preferred
