Job Summary
This role is responsible for solution design for all transmission based services during the engagement of prospective customers of MUFG. The product sales role will define the solution for the customer with the goal of defining the optimal solution for delivery of the services . The role requires detailed understanding of the accounting and treasury market space as well as MUFG products available via transmissions. This includes use of direct transmissions, SWIFT, Web, and API.
Major Responsibilities:
• Develop solution based on conversations with prospective customers, knowledge of MUFG products and services, and industry knowledge of ERP, treasury, and payment applications. Obtain customer agreement on solution using standard discovery documentation.
• Identification of non-standard product and determination on feasibility through interaction with product management.
• Advise management of potential new product capabilities through preparation of strategy presentations which define markets, product design, profitability, alternative systems, operating expenditures and capitalization.
• Work with multiple sales, implementation, and product management across MUFG business lines bringing together multiple products for a single solution.
• Work with Product management for custom solution requests to determine feasibility, delivery time and costs/investments.
• Develop and make solution presentations for sales and prospective customers.
• Support the proposal team in RFP/RFI responses ensuring answers accurately reflect product capabilities.
• Understanding of legal framework for transmission products.
• Leverage solutions across multiple markets to improve time to market, create a consistent customer experience and manage delivery costs.
• Actively ensure compliance with the Bank's Business Standards of Conduct and all Patriot Act, CIP, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Secrecy Act, information security and suspicious activity reporting requirements, and other regulatory and compliance policies and procedures.
• Actively participate in any required corporate and business line Compliance Training.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree/10 years of related experience required.
• 5-10 years of experience with host 2 host / connectivity products & services
• 5 years Product sales/solution sales experience
• ERP, treasury management, SWIFT connectivity integration experience
