Job Family Summary
The ARS Network Analytics organization is responsible for supporting the Network Field team through development of advanced analytics, reporting and market-level strategies that enhance our ability to attain a superior customer experience and meet overall business goals. Network Analytics supports areas across ARS to provide insight into network performance and analysis related to planning, forecasting and pricing exercises.
Job Summary
The ARS Network Performance Analyst provides analytical support to the ARS service provider network, working directly with the Network Performance Managers. The position will perform advanced reporting and market level analysis of the service provider network to maximize customer experience and manage loss-cost targets. The Network Performance Analyst is expected to work independently to drive collaboration with the field in establishing market-level performance strategies and effective execution of the underlying tactics, including the measurement and report out of key performance indicators to validate and focus efforts.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the ongoing execution of analytical insights into action by driving performance and execution in assigned markets to achieve expected customer experience and cost targets.
• Inspire trust and confidence in business areas through strategic and diplomatic handling of relationships.
• Leverage Agile methodology to lead the field team in the iterative approach to continuous refinement of market performance, including leading daily stand-ups and managing improvement cycles.
• Lead the focus on service provider network business objectives on assigned markets with limited guidance from the manager while managing multiple deadlines, accountabilities and competing priorities.
• Ensure Network Operations credibility and reputation of high quality (accurate, timely, relevant) financial measurement, reporting, planning, forecasting and consulting by continuously improving accuracy and effectively highlighting the efficacy of recommended actions through data.
• Partner with the Assistance Strategy leadership team to develop detailed severity plans (Operating Plan), including ongoing monitoring of variance, continuous reforecasting of results, and pro-active mitigation opportunities.
• Collaborate with the Networks Analyst leadership team to drive continuous improvement to the networks capacity management platform including refinement of algorithms and consideration of additional modeling
• Conduct technical (i.e. application of Tableau dashboards) and systems (i.e. self-service rate tools) training for the field and continuously refine tools based on feedback.
• Complete and audit process documentation for network analytics processes.
• Consistently produce accurate and timely initiative focused reporting for leadership on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
Job Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Experience
• 5+ years of experience with financial/operational analysis or equivalent experience supporting a field/network organization.
• Proven ability to build relationships with clients while leading analysis and recommending corrective actions based on emerging trends.
• Ability to work independently to identify problems, recommended solutions, and metrics to validate success.
• Advanced time management and organization skills, with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business.
• Intermediate to advanced presentation skills including the ability to synthesize data into simplified stories to connect with varied audiences.
• Intellectual curiosity and drive for continuous improvement - personally and with work assignments.
• Advanced communication skills across multiple levels and mediums.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Business Objects, Access, PowerPoint, Tableau, or equivalent applications.
• Applies knowledge of problem solving and preparation of complex reports for analysis.
• High attention to detail, team player, and strategic influencer.
• BA or BS in finance, economics, accounting mathematics or related areas of study or equivalent work experience.
• Experienced with Agile iterative development environment preferred.
