This is a tremendous opportunity to join Thrivent Financial’s fast-paced asset management group. An Investment Operations Administrative Assistant works with a broad group of people and functions. Through daily interaction with leaders and team members, this position requires a person passionate about helping others succeed, problem solving and communicating effectively.
What you get to do:
• Prepare documentation such as PowerPoint presentations, Visio diagrams, meeting notes, agendas procedures, etc.
• Share information (ex. Communicate to business partners as requested by team, send updates)
• Organize information (ex. Filing of important email and paper documents into appropriate long term storage)
• Process invoices for a large software budget; includes learning & updating tracking software
• Support special projects as needed
• Organize calendars and meeting arrangements; including travel arrangements and expense reporting
• Support the team member experience (i.e. early onboarding activities, available for process/policy questions, etc.)

What we want from you:
• Three or more years of administrative and/or contract experience
• Passion for being part of a team – achieving results and helping others be successful
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) and a keen interest in technology
• Interest and/or experience in detailed technical and/or legal documents
• Interest in data and/or databases
• Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information
Experienced to be gained
• Knowledge of capital markets and industry practices
• Ability to actively interface with a variety of professional people
