JLL is currently seeking an experienced Facilities Manager (FM) to join our team in Mclean VA supporting a premier client's new campus. The FM will be a key member of the team that will provide oversight of a 5.2 Million square foot campus comprised of corporate and retail tenants. This is a high visibility management position in Northern Virginia that offers a great opportunity for career advancement with a leader in the Real Estate Industry.
Responsibilities:
• Manage 1.9 M sq. ft. high rise office building
• Proactively manage all facilities services in accordance with JLL account and client standard processes and procedures, ensuring superior customer satisfaction.
• Develop and manage facilities operating budget for assigned portfolio, proactively track variances and manage within target.
• Achieve cost savings through maximizing utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors and identify additional efficiency opportunities, consistent with Client goals.
• Coordinate the operational aspects of the property in a manner which protects, maintains, and improves the value of the client’s assets.
• Perform monthly reporting, forecasting, and asset management on all sites.
• Assist with implementing preventive, ongoing and anticipated maintenance/repair programs.
• Manage third party vendor contracted services as required, including periodic bidding and insurance updates.
• Monitor performance per scope of work and contractual agreements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent facilities or property management experience.
• Experience managing facilities or portfolio of a minimum 800,000 sq. ft. for at least 5 years.
• Superior client relationship management skills.
• Strong supervisory and people management skills.
• Ability to plan and manage financials within budget and time constraints.
• Experience managing multiple vendors.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
