We are seeking an ambitious, self-driven Senior Analyst/Associate to work with our Experian Health Strategy & Corporate Development team on organic and inorganic (M&A/Venture/Strategic Partnership) initiatives. This position will report to the SVP of Strategy & Corporate Development and will be responsible for a broad range of activities to support the execution of multiple growth initiatives including but not limited to product portfolio evaluation/roadmap development, product pricing analysis, competitive and market analysis, M&A and venture due diligence, financial analysis, and memoranda/presentation development, playing an important role in the future direction and ultimate success of the Health business. This position is analytically-driven and ideal for those looking to gain significant experience in business strategy and transaction execution while developing in-depth knowledge in the healthcare space. *Prior healthcare experience preferred but not required*
The Senior Analyst/Associate will focus on the execution of core organic initiatives – working directly with functional teams (product/sales/marketing/finance) across the Health organization, as well as inorganic initiatives (transaction focused) that are both qualitative and quantitative in nature. This position will complete tactical activities, provide support, and contribute to the strategic direction as needed. Examples of daily activities may include:
• Conduct market research and supporting use cases for adjacent market opportunities
• Execute and refine current pricing models through internal and external analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to:
◦ Enhance and refine ‘forward looking’ product roadmaps
◦ Develop and track acquisition pipeline and investment opportunities
◦ Support strategic planning process / key deliverables
◦ Streamline operating best practices through process standardization and KPI tracking/monitoring
• Build comprehensive business cases for recommended strategic action with compelling evidence-based ROI/financial support
• Participate in market facing events (ie, conferences, deal events, educational seminars)
• Manage and track projects and supporting workflows in a timely manner with transparent updates to team members/senior leadership
• Support the review and execution of acquisition and venture-related opportunities (ie, review of target co marketing materials, thesis development, financial analysis, participate on calls with bankers/senior management, preliminary & confirmatory due diligence, committee memoranda development, etc)
• Work on live transactions (M&A | Venture | Partnerships)
• Refine business development strategy with targeted go-to-market plan
• Monitor and track competitive landscape; provide updates to leadership on key events
• Support the growth and development of Experian Health’s Strategy & Corporate Development team
• Be an internal and external champion of strategic growth initiatives for Experian Health
Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or similar field of study required. Masters of Business Administration (MBA) a plus but not required.
• Major GPA: 3.5 (out of 4.0) or higher
Prior Experience
• 2-5 years of financially-driven/business analysis work, including business case and financial model development, market assessment, competitive intelligence, and core financial analysis
• 1-2 years in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, Big 4 accounting/consulting, private equity and/or venture capital preferred
• Delivering results in a timely manner that meet or exceed business goals
• Working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership (whether co-located or virtual) to drive and obtain desired results
• Corporate strategy and transaction execution experience preferred
• Direct knowledge and/or experience in healthcare industry is a plus

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); completion of financial training courses (modeling/financial statement analysis/best practices) a plus but not required
• Driven, self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills who takes pride in delivering the highest quality work product in a presentable format
• Takes full ownership of assigned task(s)
• Travel may be required based upon job-related requirements (estimated 25-30%).
