Manager, Product Development and Innovation - Mastercard Send (Project Management / Program Management / PMO)
Overview
• Within Mastercard's Products & Innovation, the team develops, delivers, and manages shared capabilities supporting the Mastercard Send product and ensures competitive differentiation and alignment with key Mastercard priorities.
• Partners with cross-functional global stakeholders (Product, Operations & Technology, Service Management and Mastercard Send Product Managers) - both internal and external - to ensure capabilities support multiple objectives.
• This position is in charge of driving our processes, and leading the key gates, throughout the products life-cycle. It will help our group continuously improve its project management processes and the products documentation.
• Are you comfortable with ambiguity, with a desire to create, iterate and improve?
• Do you like to set structure, actively manage projects and work in a collaborative environment?
• Are you a strong communicator who can influence and direct successful outcomes?
• Do you have experience of the SAFe Agile methodology?
Role
• Organizes and leads the project initiatives life-cycle meetings, ensuring proper content is prepared by requestors and contributors. Provides minutes and reporting
• Creates and maintains responsibility matrix for the different product domains and activities.
• Updates of the overall capacity planning for all initiatives, based on product and development teams feedback, in order to enable steering by management.
• Gather statistics and provide reporting for management reviews
• Helps the community to adhere to the defined processes, and collects feedback for permanent improvements.
• Is the counterpart of the Operations & Technology (O&T) project manager(s), and collaborate with product leads ensuring priorities are aligned, development progress is properly reported, dependencies to providers are properly tracked, defects management process is followed …
• Drives improvement of documentation on the products, for both internal and external consumption. Write some of the documents (such as user guides and processes definition), leveraging the knowledge of the team.
All About You
• Experience working within a global technology organization managing strategy development, agile program management or leading an agile development team.
• Ability to take accountability, acting with a sense of urgency, and delivering plans with passion, ambition and aptitude
• Project management, organization, and leadership skills with ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders
• Superior oral and written communication, problem solving, product documentation, and product development skills
• Ability to multi-task, establish priorities.
• Understanding of budget management
• Ability to learn and adjust to changing priorities
• Ability to apply independent judgment to solve issues.
