Risk Division
The Risk division is responsible for credit, market and operational risk, model risk, independent liquidity risk, and insurance throughout the firm.
Operational Risk Management and Analysis
The Operational Risk Management and Analysis (ORMA) department is a part of the Goldman Sachs Risk Division. ORMA an independent risk management function responsible for developing and implementing a standardized framework to identify, measure, and monitor and operational risk across the firm.
YOUR IMPACT
Operational Risk Specialist
The Global Business Continuity Program at Goldman Sachs focuses on providing advice, guidance and frameworks to protect the people and assets of the firm and ensure continuity of operations in a crisis event. As an Operational Risk Specialist leading the Business Continuity Planning Team, you will provide specialized advice, analysis and support of scenario development for the program.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Responsibilities include:
• Leading the successful implementation and management of Goldman Sachs’ resilience and continuity program including managing senior stakeholders.
• Proactively maintaining and evolving the global resilience and continuity framework.
• Managing the governance, reporting and monitoring of the firmwide resilience and continuity program.
• Remaining current on business, regulatory and industry changes that may impact the program.
• The management of a global team of Resilience Specialists including career development and feedback, staffing and coordination across regions.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Key Skills
The Global BCP lead role requires an energetic self-starter that can interact with senior business partners both regionally and globally. Experience and prudent knowledge of business continuity and resilience are required together with strong interpersonal and analytical skills for this role.
• 5+ years of experience in the business resilience space shaping program strategy with recent experience in the implementation of program uplift and change.
• Experience at a multinational business, delivering and managing an active resilience program with the ability to leverage global strategies to harmonize recovery capabilities.
• Ability to design innovative recovery strategies and provide oversight of their implementation.
• Experience with data driven risk management processes and taking a risk focused view on resilience. Ability to determine risks within the program and identify areas for development and mitigation.
• Exposure to regulatory frameworks and assessment processes.
• Strong relationship builder able to liaise across all levels, including with senior management and governance structures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills - able to present with impact and influence
