Manager Business Analysis Overview
The Manager, Business Analysis position serves a key role in the organization by ensuring that First Data Processing to its customers is aligned and compliant with the rules defined from various networks. Works with external networks to receive technical information related to release efforts and to support on-going compliance with network mandates. Considers optional network initiatives and information an shares with internal partners for consideration in product development and strategy to support the First Data Product and Services.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and varying levels of managerial assistance. The position requires that the incumbent define the business requirements and coordinate with IT/Dev to successfully meet the requirements (i.e. prepare requirements documentation) and to assist in planning the project activities network compliance projects. The incumbent is also responsible for providing expertise and guidance to the project and work with external network contacts to assist other areas of the organization and to provide expertise relative to the networks and the debit processing platform.
• Must have the ability to manage projects from scoping/Business Case through to launch; this includes effectively defining and refining requirements, anticipating areas of impact to align task ownership, controlling the project by anticipating problems and pursuing resolutions, and ensuring a good communication is developed and executed.
• This role will also serve as a point of contact to external network partners for Compliance related support and management of compliance questions and issues.

Job Requirements
• Minimum of a four year degree or equivalent business experience required. Minimum of three years analysis management experience required.
• Knowledge of First Data’s products, platforms, systems, and operational areas preferred. Industry knowledge and experience with debit networks/brands and other bank processing providers.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal direction/supervision in performing each duty satisfactorily which includes the day to day project work as well as meeting specific performance objectives. In addition, the incumbent will be responsible for other duties as assigned by management.
