Senior Human Resource Consultant
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Human Resources Consultant to champion our core values while partnering with our New England Claims organization. This role focuses on our people, supporting our business in coaching, developing and other exciting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have the ability to influence others, build strong, collaborative relationships as well as have a creative and innovative approach to problem solving. As a senior level HR professional, you’ll proactively partner with all levels of management to resolve people related issues and mitigate risk for the organization. This position will require significant travel throughout the states of CT, ME, MA, NH, VT and RI.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Needed to be Successful:
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years related professional experience in Human Resources or management; In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of related professional experience in Human Resources or management
• Understands and applies knowledge and experience of HR procedures, principles and concepts.
• Applies and understands Federal and state regulations governing employment.
• Ability to mediate conflict.
• Ability to work with and maintain highly confidential information.
• Ability to make decisions with limited subjective data.
• Ability to achieve outcomes without authority.
• Good written and oral communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Ability to prepare reports and conduct presentations.
