About the opportunity
Department overview
This opportunity is to head up a Global Implementation team based in Dublin.
Your team will be the focal point for internal stakeholders across a number of GBO services, acting as first and last contact, performing end to end impact assessments across GBO. Primarily, but not exclusively, this team will be the Centre of Excellence for the following major central business activities:
• New Retail Fund Products - impact assessment, launches, closures
• Institutional - On-boarding of new clients
• Custody Accounts - impact assessment, launches, closures
• Markets - Due diligence coordination for new and existing investment markets
• New instrument triage
What you’ll do
• Lead a single team providing global coverage
• Manage talent and performance for the team
• Forging strong relationships with internal stakeholders enabling the anticipation of requirements and the ability to balance multiple, often conflicting priorities
• Service Governance - conduct monthly service meetings with the Institutional and wholesale business to review new fund activity, on-going GBO initiatives and business updates
• Represent the team at all stakeholder levels, be that internal, external, legal and / or regulatory.
• Hold ultimate responsibility for all decisions and outcomes produced by the team.
• You will be the knowledge advisor across all team functions.
• Risk recognition and mitigation planning is a common theme across all functions, and thus you must be able to fully understand any, and all, risk implications contained within any mitigation plan produced by the team. You will be the arbitrator of risk judgement & planning.

About you – who you are
• Experienced in the Investment Management world, particularly having a strong understanding of new business activities and how they fit in to the bigger picture.
• Experienced in managing a global team, one that is operating across multiple business areas at any given time.
• Can demonstrate strong relationship management skills – having the proven ability to handle complex, diverse and multi layered relationships.
• Project management experience.
• Takes ownership for delivery.
• Has strong decision making and conflict management skills.
• Be risk aware and able to plan and measure mitigation against identified risk.
• Self-motivated and responsive to a constantly changing environment.
Have strong negotiation skills, at all levels.
