As the Patch Management Manager you will be responsible for the successful and thoughtful delivery of all Patch Management strategy and activities across the organization in alignment with Equifax’s business goal. As a Governance role, the Patch Manager will lead and mentor a team to provide process, tools and best practices to facilitate Enterprise wide adherence to this practice.
This new role will lead the Patch Management function world-wide as a strategic partner of the main stakeholders across the organization: CIOs, Security, Internal Audit, ETS leaders and BU/COEs Patch Champions between others to reduce risk exposure by strengthening management visibility and accountability.
Responsibilities include:
• Acts as the strategic lead and holds accountability for the Patch Management processes, policies and procedures
• Chairs the Patch Advisory Committee (PAC) – a collective group with representatives from each business unit responsible for reviewing and advising on patch and vulnerability management processes.
• Leads Patch Management Governance Board process change reviews to enable a team focused on continual improvement
• Accountable for confirming any changes to the Patch Management processes
• Responsible for responding to other interested parties at Equifax regarding any Patch Management related requests (including to 1st – 3rd line of defense risk management, external auditors, etc.)
• Responsible for establishing and standardizing patch methodology practices and reporting.
• Responsible for overseeing a team responsible for both Strategic and tactical project delivery.
• Prepares effective Steering Committee presentations and attends various Steering Committee meetings
• Identify, recruit, develop and retain a high-performance team of professionals
