The senior manager provides both strategic leadership and hands-on support for various strategic marketing initiatives and growth opportunities for industry and specialized services practices areas. The position requires experience in content marketing and digital strategies. They will work closely with firm leaders, partners, and marketing team members to provide direction and lead the execution of marketing strategies and a wide range of tactics, including multi-channel demand generation campaigns.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic marketing plans and corresponding marketing programs and activities
• Develop and execute a strategic marketing plan for designated industries, service lines, or geographic markets
• Create and execute corresponding marketing strategies and tactics based on team goals and priorities
• Serve as a strategic marketing resource to leadership
• Manage the marketing mix from generating awareness and interest for industries and services in geographic markets to helping to further opportunities through strategic input and ideas
Lead and manage a proactive, results-driven marketing team
• Align objectives and measure performance to demonstrate marketing’s contributions to goals
• Proactively communicate initiatives and results with offices and marketing team members
Plan execution, including brand building and operational activities
• Work closely with marketing team members to execute the marketing plan
• Manage the marketing mix from generating awareness and interest for industries and services to helping close opportunities through strategic opportunity-specific support
• Plan and manage internal communications to drive awareness throughout the firm
• Manage sales support activities, including effective presentations, prospect collateral, proposal content, and large pursuit assistance
• Develop and manage subordinate marketing talent, roles, and responsibilities
• Effectively leverage available CRM and marketing automation tools
• Understand and execute the Baker Tilly brand in all strategies and tactics

• Participate in marketing taskforces and special projects
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years business-to-business marketing experience, preferably in a professional services environment
• Experienced marketing and communications professional who works best in a collaborative and innovative environment to achieve results
• Strategic thinker with superior professionalism, judgment, and strong work ethic
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; communicate effectively with all levels of staff from entry level to partners and work well in a highly collaborative team-focused environment
• Ability to manage and prioritize projects independently
• Excellent planning and measurement skills, including experience in building integrated campaigns and leveraging thought leadership
• Excellent people skills, enthusiastic attitude, and ability to build relationships
• Effectively work under tight deadlines and be resourceful in addressing challenges and solving problems
• Team development and management experience
• Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and experience using the Microsoft Office Suite
• Superior professionalism, judgment, strong work ethic
• Demonstrated leadership in applying current marketing principles, including marketing automation, CRM, social media, online and native advertising, and other digital marketing
