Description
The Finance Operations Consultant is a results driven finance person responsible for recommending and implementing effective operations for all Fee/Financial trading platforms/operations. You will collaborate with business units across the enterprise, members of IT, and leadership to build new processes, implement process improvement and provide consulting/ analytical services. Your main focus will be supporting Retirement Services Transformation and project efforts. You are an innovative thinker and problem solver with the ability to respond to rapidly changing environments and are adept at exploring and successfully deploying new process and technologies.
Some of the position’s key responsibilities include:
• Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and develop sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements
• Research best business practices within and outside the organization to establish process improvement and performance goals
• Collect and analyze process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced customer service, improved service and quality, and reduced cost
• Resolve complex problems across platforms and serve as project leader for multiple projects involving transformation, fee, and trading operations li>
• Recommend services and solutions through strong relationships with internal external partners
• Seek to optimize fee/trading processing, enhance revenue, and the safekeeping of assets through efficient processes, technology, leveraging best practices, and ongoing education

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or related field
• 3+ Years minimum experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Intermediate/Advance working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working on a large scale project that impacts multiple business units
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment, and when given a deadline you know how to motivate yourself and associates and meet it
• You see value in long term thinking and large scale impact to a company. You have interest in developing a long-term career through assignments and projects across divisions within the company
