The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing upon all aspects of Experienced Hire recruiting within two areas of RSM’s Consulting group. This includes job requisition development, candidate pipelining, sourcing, interviewing, negotiation, onboarding and candidate care. A successful candidate will truly understand how to pique the interest of passive candidates and bring them through the process. They will love the “hunt” and not wait for candidates to apply. In addition, they will understand how to develop strong relationships with hiring managers and keep organized through the hiring process.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize all available sourcing resources to establish immediate and long-term candidate pipeline, and develop/maintain the RSM brand, which includes use of social media, and networking through external activities such as local associations, meetings and events. Documents all candidate sourcing and identification activity in prescribed internal systems according to established standards
• Facilitate all aspects of candidate care, including scheduling candidate and hiring team interviews, candidate follow up, pre-closing candidate offer negotiation and acceptance. Update and maintain candidate data in applicant tracking system and follows established procedures to ensure compliance activities are completed timely
• Build strong relationships with hiring managers, Office Managing Partners / Location Leaders to understand the need, competencies and experience requirements of the position; develop an accurate and comprehensive job description; identify a proactive sourcing strategy; and follow process of requisition approval and data management in various recruiting systems
• Assist with facilitation of candidate onboarding process with internal HR resources to ensure high level of candidate care and nurturing occurs from point of acceptance to commencement of employment
• Stay abreast of best and/or competitive practices and provide competitive intelligence in a timely manner to appropriate individuals. Seek development opportunities on newest talent acquisition strategies or tools
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of three to five years of recruiting experience
• High performer within a recruiting agency environment preferred
• Not afraid to cold call candidates
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Office Skills required, particularly Outlook & Scheduling
• Ability to work effectively and influence across a highly matrixed, multi-location organization
• Ability to work autonomously and exhibit a professional demeanor to internal and external clients
