Zions Bancorporation is seeking a Business Analyst in the Retail & Treasury Portfolio department in Salt Lake City, Utah to work on the Digital Banking project. The Business Analyst will:
• Gather, review, analyze, validate, evaluate and map business systems, processes, and user requirements.
• Work with various business users to review, analyze and evaluate business systems and make recommendations for improvements and changes.
• Perform and participate in the analysis, design and implementation of digital banking business systems.
• Follow appropriate standards and requirement gathering.
• Serve as technical product owner to formulate proposals for new systems and procedures.
• Conduct tests or test planning sessions, provides input for feasibility and prepares user documentation and follow-up evaluation.
• Act as a liaison with subsidiary management and staff to resolve issues as needed.
• Assist in developing user documentation and departmental policies and procedures that impact the use of application systems.
• Understand, negotiate, and effectively manage the needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
• Perform project management leadership functions as a project manager or team member.
• Take initiative and produce timely results in fast paced and sometimes ambiguous environments.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field and 4+ years’ experience in business analysis, project management, multiple technologies, frameworks, systems or other directly related experience.
• Advanced knowledge of business systems, programming and systems analysis procedures, project techniques and practices.
• Prior Business Analyst experience working in the financial services industry supporting digital experience initiatives is strongly desired.
• Experience with Agile or iterative development models.
• Requires extensive analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to elicit, gather and analysis user requirements.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to function in a consultative role and manage a team or project.
• Requires strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with both management and staff employees.
• Must be able to meet multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
