As part of the Bank’s Strategy and Transformation department, the consulting arm of the Enterprise Reengineering and Robotics group is a small, high impact team made up of experienced former management consultants and industry professionals.
We work with Bank senior leadership on projects to define and solve problems, improve processes, drive change, and accelerate strategy.
Job Description Summary - Sr Consulting Analyst
Essential Job Functions

• Partner with senior leadership and subject matter experts within the line of business or functional area to counsel them on items to be addressed and prioritized, insights and findings, and recommendations
• Analyze current business processes, procedures, and policies to identify weaknesses, deficiencies, inefficiencies, and/or gaps for resolution and improvement
• Perform strategy formulation, development, and implementation oversight to advance the success of our client
• Define and execute the necessary data gathering, research and zero-defect analysis for a project/work stream
• Develop fact-based insights and findings to shape and support our recommendations
• Perform best practice research and industry benchmarking analysis, as appropriate, to complement our analysis of internal data
• Collaborate with key stakeholders & team members to refine our recommendations, build momentum for change and support the successful launch of related implementation work
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university required
• Master’s/Advanced degree is a plus
• 3+ years of consulting experience (Big 3/Big 4 consultancy firm or within an internal consulting group or similar team of a large corporation) is a plus
• Broad knowledge and experience in delivering operational and strategy projects, including process improvements, customer experience, end-to-end redesign, organizational restructuring, etc.
• Banking and financial services industry experience is a big plus
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification is a plus
Key Success Factors:
• Strong ability to deliver quality results against fast-paced project deliverable deadlines
• Detail-oriented, with the ability to learn (and unlearn) quickly, get up to speed, and immerse deeply
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to multi-task and prioritize
• Proven ability to execute smaller projects and/or workstreams of larger projects with a number of interdependencies
• Client focused, with ability to listen carefully, understand client’s problems and provide advice and potential resolutions
• Equally comfortable leading small group discussions, problem solving in small teams, or working independently, and shifting among these effortlessly
• Ability to influence actions and gain the support of others to meet objectives
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Visio; bonus points for Tableau or other data visualization tool skills, and/or SQL and database analytics experience
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Eagerness to learn from and to teach others
• Proactive approach combined with passion and a “can-do” attitude
