Manage branch operations and service line associates; open deposit accounts; deliver consumer and business products and services; loan products sold are consumer loans as well as secured and unsecured business loans within Business Central Underwriting parameters; identify referrals for specialty partner sales; basic to complex service and maintenance. Used in branches with minimal sales opportunity and low to moderate transaction needs..
Principal Accountabilities:
Sales Scorecard:
Achieve sales scorecard expectations.
Achieve sales results with an appropriate distribution of performance across products that align with intended job functions and market opportunity.
Achieve sales results that align with the needs of the community and ultimately support the organizational commitment to diverse lending.
Operational Scorecard:
Achieve operational scorecard expectations.
People Management:
Identify, develop and retain talent aligned with your current and future workforce needs.
Establish and manage to an annual team performance plan that is aligned with the Bank's Competitive Path.
Clearly define and communicate individual performance goals. Through regular interactions and inspection ensure progress against goals.
Engage in regular one to one discussions, providing reinforcing and formative feedback to support associate development and achievement of results.
Demonstrate commitment to building a diverse, inclusive and civil work environment.
Sales & Service - Relationship Expansion:
Develop and implement a customer outreach plan for retaining relationships and sourcing new business through the existing portfolio.
Use a needs based, customer centric selling approach to create value for both the customer and the bank.
Regularly create value added conversations with customers in servicing interactions to uncover opportunities to expand or retain a relationship.
Engage partners as appropriate to fulfill the needs of the customer.
Risk Mitigation:
Adhere to all regulations and Bank policies, procedures and delegated authorities.
Manage credit, operational, reputational, regulatory and legal risks related to personal interactions, customer transactions and financial exposures.
Act as a first line of defense in the identification of risk.
Complete required training and any Continuing Education by established deadlines.
Position Requirements:
Basic Qualification:
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years experience in a financial services, sales or bank operations role.
Additional Requirements:
Must complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by the SAFE Act.
Must possess a valid driver's license. Position requires frequent driving to other offices, bank customers, etc. Bank car not provided.
Other Preferred Qualifications:
Considerable knowledge of consumer and business deposit and loan risk issues.
Ability to identify, think through and solve problems accurately and efficiently.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to work with little direct supervision.
At least 2 years experience in a leadership role.
