Job Description Summary
Responsible for supporting the Treasury and Capital Markets Financial Accounting team with accounting and and financial analytics. Performs a variety of complex Accounting duties in support of the Equipment Finance Division (EFD) division, including analysis of financial data from reports and various sources; performs statistical analyses.
Essential Job Functions
1. Independently completes assigned financial requests.
2. Provide reconciliation support and analysis to resolve outstanding issues.
3. Will be responsible for specific GL’s for financial reporting and analysis: charge-offs/recoveries, gain/loss, collection/legal collection fees, and other income activities.
4. Performs monthly reviews and evaluates actual financial performance of the Bank's EFD business unit and conducts variance analysis.
5. Will be responsible for preparing journal entries and analysis of interest accruals, advances/paydowns.
6. May lead projects assigned by the head of Treasury and Capital Markets Accounting.
7. Take lead on payment of income tax processing for the business.
8. Will be responsible for funding reports and analysis. Borrowings/paydowns.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Accounting or Finance, is required.
• Master’s/Advanced Degree - Preferred
• Required License(s) or Certifications: CPA Preferred
• Requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Requires 5 years minimum prior relevant experience.
