Job Description Summary
Manages daily and monthly activities of a functional unit within Equipment Finance Servicing. Manages employees by setting performance goals and establishing work schedules and priorities. Responds to internal and external customers, assisting in problem solving and resolution. Ensures accuracy of financial information and proper internal controls. Review, interpret, and recommend changes to policies and procedures. Plans and manages projects of high scope.
Essential Job Functions

Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. Review and approve daily processing activities from staff. Resolve issues, monitor deadlines, and follow up on pending matters.
• Review both daily and monthly account reconciliation. Ensure all accounts are certified and reconciling differences resolved timely.
• Perform daily monitoring of general ledger activities and review of journal posting for validity.
• Analyze general ledger balances prior to month-end close and determine necessary accrual or corrections. Report to Management any unusual activities or variances for the month.
• Maintain adequate accounting and internal controls. Assist in the quarterly self-assessment review and compliance with SOX requirements.
• Prepare certain financial reports and certifications as required by Management or the Bank's Controller's Department for completion of quarterly and annual SEC and regulatory filings.
• Assists with related special projects as required.
• Provide back-up support for Equipment Lease Servicing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Experience
• Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
• Typically requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Requires 7 years minimum prior relevant experience.
Education
• Bachelor's Degree Finance/Accounting
Skills
• Knowledge of GAAP.
• Knowledge of accounting for leases.
• Ability to prepare reports and business correspondence.
• Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative with minimal direction, to identify issues requiring attention, and to complete projects timely.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Infolease.
• Working knowledge of mainframe general ledger systems.
• Administrative/Technical Skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Able to manage priorities and workflow.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
