Prudential International Insurance (PII) continues to be one of Prudential's fastest growing and most profitable business groups. PII has operations in eleven countries around the world (Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, India, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Indonesia, Poland, and Italy) and is looking to fill a Director, Process Management position in the Operations & Systems department.
Reporting to the Vice President, Process Management, the Director of Process Management will provide leadership in developing talent, establishing and implementing key service delivery strategies and lead process analysis. Design and redesign integrated work flows to ensure processes are customer focused, well controlled and efficient. Support the International businesses in developing a cohesive set of service solutions in complex, unstructured environments and manage large scale projects & activities within and across the countries.
Position can be worked from any Prudential office and/or virtual location.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop strong working relationships and influence country leadership to help establish and implement key service delivery strategies
• Implement Key Performance Indicators focused on improving service delivery, operational efficiency and control
• Apply deep technical experience (workforce management, business analytics, etc) to solve difficult business challenges
• Ensure operational standards are in place and followed across all PII operating companies
• Implement tools and processes to effectively monitor results and provide guidance to help countries maintain service levels
• Transfer knowledge and develop operational capabilities of in-country staff
• Effectively partner and interact with associates across all levels and functions within PII and across the countries
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 7+ years experience in Operations Management (experience in financial services and/or insurance industry preferred).
• Demonstrated success in attracting, coaching, and developing teams and individuals
• Strong communication (written and verbal), listening and influencing skills
• Outstanding collaborative skills and ability to interface across organizational levels and cultures
• Strong drive for results; fluid and flexible
• International work experience preferred
• Ability to travel internationally 25 - 35% of the time
• Product knowledge of Individual Life, Retirement, Group Insurance, and Annuity products a plus
• Bi / multilingual capability a plus
