Description

We are currently seeking an experienced product management and marketing professional to develop and manage information and data services in the credit industry with a focus on the Credit Profile Report and Ancillary solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong drive for results, interpersonal skills, positive attitude and is comfortable managing and coordinating cross functional teams. The role includes close client interactions for voice of customer feedback. The candidate must have a high sense of urgency, be self-motivated, can work under minimal supervision, and can trouble-shoot complex problems and escalate appropriately. You must have knowledge of Agile methodology and business acumen. You’ll work in a fast paced, high communication environment where collaboration with the clients, sales, and development teams is key to your day-to-day success.
Responsibilities include:
• Partner with stakeholders to own and execute enhancements to the Credit Profile Report and Ancillary solution through alterative data sources.
• Take an innovative and out of the box approach to evolving our current solutions to deliver value to the market and differentiate Experian.
• Develop new product strategies, drive those strategies and create tactical marketing plans across sales channels and vertical markets to build sales pipeline to achieve fiscal year revenue objectives for managed products.
• Define and communicate user stories, business objectives, and product requirements to the team
• Conduct research on product positioning, pricing/revenue, competitor products/services and market trends to identify and recommend relevant solutions/bundles
• Actively manage the product roadmap, pricing, marketing, GTM strategy, VOCs, and Sales enablement
• Apply market intelligence and P&L analysis against product investments to establish priority and highest revenue opportunities
• Actively provide strong product and market expertise to Marketing, Sales and Operations teams to help drive revenue growth of these products in the North American market
• Demonstrate subject matter expertise at a level such that you can successfully represent this product line to internal groups as well as external clients and partners
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather insights, understand current business processes, challenges, and opportunities to deliver a great customer experience.
• Evaluate and recommend which data sets and enhancements should be brought to market and implemented
• Create Sales tools and industry market messaging for appropriate product opportunities within new and existing markets
Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience in Product Management or Marketing for B2B (business to business) or B2C (business to consumer) products or companies
• Advanced knowledge of the financial services industry (credit experience is preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA a plus
• High sense of urgency and ability to work well in and navigate a matrix environment.
• Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented independent thinkers with strong attention to detail, analytical focus and problem solving skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Innovative and forward thinking, can execute on product vision
• Familiarity with Pragmatic Marketing and Agile methodologies preferred
