SUMMARY:
Support and other Administrative duties relating to ORE / Special Asset. Plays an active role in the department to minimize loss to the bank.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in credit related position preferred
• Good telephone and customer service skills
• Good communication and public relations skills
• Must have good computer skills and be able to use:
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Word
PowerPoint
Access
• Must have the ability to operate standard office equipment
• Strong documentation and legal knowledge preferred
• General knowledge of legal documentation and perfection of real estate documents
• Solid understanding of financial institution policies and procedures
• Must be a detail oriented persona and be able to keep a working filing system
• Must have the ability to multi task and work within certain deadlines
• Must have an automobile for transportation (*some light local travel required- generally within 50 miles)
• Must have the ability to learn Navigator, Director , Shaw and any other operating system utilized by the ORE or Special Assets Department
• Participate and complete all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Assist ORE manager in various projects, including property inspections, property preservation request, utility
connections, communication with service providers, etc.
• Assist Special Assets personnel in various administrative duties
• Ability to handle incoming inquiries related to bank owned property with minimal supervision
• Review and prepare invoices for payment
• Review and pay property taxes
• Ability to independently service bank owned properties ( *TRAVEL REQUIRED )
• Assist with the CAR database
• Correspond with Legal Counsel regarding legal matters of bank owned property
• Compiling and maintaining information on various spreadsheets regarding foreclosures & Special Assets
• Administrate website related duties for information regarding bank owned property
• Correspond with various departments of the bank for loan booking, loan transfers, etc.
• Order supplies
• Book closing packages and loan payments
• Must have the ability to navigate the Internet for research relating to taxes, deed information, property records
and other real estate related information
• Perform other duties as assigned
