The Healthcare Senior Data Analyst will, using your experience and knowledge of healthcare claims, perform complex data analytics and provide consulting services for multiple managed care engagements and assist with additional government health program contracts out of our Indianapolis office.
Essential Functions:
• Perform complex data and financial analysis based on established protocols, as well as manage and manipulate data
• Possess and utilize a high level of familiarity with healthcare claims data
• Possess and apply a solid understanding of appropriate federal and state Medicaid laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Assist with maintaining successful client relationships
• Ability to effectively manage tasks to meet work plan functions, due dates, and preparation of deliverables
• Maintain security and confidentiality of all protected health information encountered during performance
• Additional responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience required
• Demonstrated high level of expertise with Medicaid data analytics using SQL or similar tools
• Health care coding knowledge a plus
• Ability to perform complex analysis
• Well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven team player skills
• Outstanding ability to work in a fast paced and high energy position
• Effectively multi-task with planning and efficiency
• Proficient use of applicable software programs, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to travel if necessary to meet business demands
