Responsible for working with customers and different business units (Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Product Development, Operations, etc.) to develop the strategic vision, product planning and product roadmap for various products and platforms in the Database Solutions group. Support other team members in the Product Management group with various tasks and functions. The Product Manager is expected to develop and prioritize high level product requirements and partner with the business analysts to ensure customer satisfaction and goals are met.
Essential Functions
• Previous Experience as a Product Manager or in the Product Marketing area
• Act as project manager for key product management initiatives
• Summarize project scope and change requests
• Mediate with IT and business project issues and risks where applicable
• Partner with release management to develop and approve release scope
• Develop define maintain and communicate he product strategy and roadmap
• Measures and communicate the progress of a project to the client and Sr. Management
• ROI assistance
• Competitive Analysis—a key responsibility of this role is to coordinate activities around a new competitive analysis initiative. This will include gathering information from various internal constituents and external sources, creating a central repository, analyzing the input, and summarizing information into useable/actionable information.

• Strong written and oral communication skills in order to define business and technical parameters and lead team to meet business requirements.

Typical Education
• Generally requires BS Degree or equivalent work experience
• Masters degree a plus
Typical Range of Experience
• Typically has 2-6 years of directly related experience with an excellent customer understanding.
