Description
Zurich is currently looking for a HR Service Center Representative to work out of our North American head-quarters in Schaumburg, Illinois.
The HR Service Center Representative serves as the primary contact to all employees/former employees and retirees on policies, payroll, benefits and other company communications. Handles customer service inquires and problems from multiple input channels in order to provide exceptional customer service and clear advice to customers.
Additional responsibilities include:
• Being a primary contact for current and former employees on payroll, benefits, and other Human Resources transactions
• Providing excellent customer service
• Needs to be resourceful in searching multiple systems for answers for inquiries
• Interacting with one or more vendors in response to employee issues
• Mandatory Overtime, as required
Client Internally Focused - The job’s core deliverables rely on delivering service to internal clients, usually at the line manager or employee level. May involve sharing subject matter expertise to others in the organization or supporting others in their efforts to deliver on our promise.
The position will involve some training but will include being resourceful by assisting employees on the phone and via email throughout the day. The position will also need a person who is detail oriented, collaborative and a team player.
Basic Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the Customer Service area OR
• Zurich approved Apprenticeship program including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Customer Service area
Preferred Qualifications:
• Inbound call center experience preferably in a multi-company support role
• In-depth knowledge of benefits, policies, payroll and other HR-related issues as well as federal and state regulatory requirement
• Experience with SAP, including Payroll or Benefits modules and ADP eTime
• Ability to collaborate and be a team player
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organization skills and detailed oriented
