The SEO Analyst is responsible for the execution of Fidelity’s best-in-class SEO strategy. You are the primary owner of SEO data analysis and implementation of SEO best practices for desktop, mobile and emerging search landscapes. You are responsible for identifying significant SEO opportunities that drive organic traffic and conversions. You will work with all aspects of SEO, from indexation and on-page optimizations to site audits and link/content strategies.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
• BA/BS Degree
• A minimum of 2-4 years of agency or in-house SEO experience
• Experience with SEO platforms, analytics tools, industry tools preferred
The Purpose of Your Role
As an SEO Analyst, you will be part of the Search and Social team, which drives Fidelity’s organic and paid search as well as social media strategy. Reporting into the Director, Search Engine Optimization you will work cross-functionally across the Fid.com Content team, Measurement and Analytics, Marketing and Product organizations to deliver traffic and revenue generated through organic search. You are also responsible for driving increases in rankings for thousands of keywords across our websites.
The Skills You Bring
• You have a good understanding of SEO best practices and ranking factors
• You have strong analytical skills and have experience measuring SEO performance and its impact on revenue
• You can analyze data from multiple sources, summarize the information and draw actionable and measureable next steps
• You have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with Google Search Console, Site Catalyst, BrightEdge, Conductor, Screaming Frog, Moz etc.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
The Value You Deliver
• Executing SEO optimization tactics across Fidelity.com assets (articles, pages, videos, etc)
• Identifying and implementing on-page and off-page optimizations including meta tags, internal links etc
• Performing keyword research and analysis to identify keyword opportunities for Fidelity sites
• Providing education and SEO knowledge across the organization to help increase the performance of all owned assets
• Maintaining in-depth knowledge of industry trends and new developments
• Tracking/managing SEO projects from initiation through completion
• Creating weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports to evaluate organic performance across different lines of business
