Reporting to the Business Credit Center Manager, this senior management-level role is responsible for enterprise-wide loan closing and operation related processes for Business Banking Group (BBG). This role is responsible for oversight of the Loan Administration Team responsible for closing and supporting a $1billion annual loan origination platform and a portfolio of $2 -5 billion. Responsible for the design, coordination, implementation and/or oversight of all processes affecting the Business Credit Center (BCC). Responsible for the lending operations direction, growth, compliance and coordination of all activities to ensure achievement of financial goals and expectations. Responsible for ensuring that the group's systems and operational infrastructure can support outstanding execution of current programs, as well as ensuring a leading position among competitors. Responsible for ensuring the effectiveness of new and existing processes, in coordination with all BBG business partners. Responsible for establishing and enforcing Internal Service Level Agreements, maximizing and monitoring productivity and improving customer service. Actively participates in senior level management meetings, strategy planning, discussions and decisions. Manages 3 to 4 managers who manage 15+ Loan Administrators responsible for SBA, Wholesale and Retail Loan Processing.
Major Responsibilities:

• Responsible for BCC Credit Processing and Continuous Improvement. Drive BCC Process with all loan closing functions. Directly manage 3 to 4 managers and indirectly 15+ associates.
• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, termination, coaching and counseling, training, performance reviews, compensation changes, promotions and transfers, delegating assignments, and oversight of work.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate operational activities at a senior management level.
• Take overall responsibility and accountability for loan administration and all aspects of labor management for all staff.
• Provide oversight to the Processing and Operations teams for BCC.
• Monitor staff performance against objectives. Lead Re-Engineering Initiatives.
• Lead systems enhancements and monitoring. Support BCC Manager and Senior Operations Management Team of BBG to develop streamlined processes and thorough management practices.
• Make recommendations to Senior Management for improvements on projects, processes, tasks and objectives. Create, simplify and improve processes to maximize BCC efficiency and meet changing business needs. Build and manage pull-through Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all functions within the BCC.
• Negotiate external Service Level Agreements with business partners in support of BBG's financial goals and objectives. Drive the development and design of new processes, systems and products.
• Drive the development and design of management reports highlighting various BCC metrics, including capacity, production and efficiency.
• Coordinate work flow changes with internal and external departments of the Bank, ensuring maximum efficiency and customer service results.

• Responsible for Risk Management. Actively participate in management meetings, strategic planning, discussions and decisions.
• Actively participate in the IRMG credit examination process to achieve satisfactory results. Interface with BBG Executive Management, Line Management and Business Partner Management to resolve conflicts and issues.
• Address compliance, legal and audit issues as they relate to BCC operations.
• Work closely with other executives and senior managers to facilitate problem solving, and to obtain necessary resources to meet objectives.

• Responsible for Project Management Participation. Represent BBG's interests and goals in Enterprise-Wide Projects.
• Support Project Managers within BBG to achieve winning results.
• Prepare functional requirements, feasibility studies, program specifications, user test plans and user training plans related to systems.
• Maintain a close relationship with Senior Management, Credit Administration, IRMG and other business partners through interaction with these units.
• Ensure that an open line of communication is established at all levels, both inside and outside the BCC/BBG.
Qualifications
• Thorough knowledge of key banking regulations.
• Strong project management and process design skills.
• Proven strength in relationship development across business lines and flexibility to adapt approaches to meet the needs of a broad range of business units and multiple stakeholders.
• Track record of success in leadership and a demonstrated ability to attract motivate and retain talent.
• Well-organized, disciplined planner and implementer with sound strategic judgment, thinking and vision.
• Outstanding communication skills; able to foster close and collaborative productive working relationships across the organization.
• Knowledge of loan documentation systems and process implementation. Knowledge of loan servicing responsibilities, SBA requirements and general loan portfolio servicing risk management and oversight.
• Requires 10+ years of banking experience, reflecting progressive growth in a leadership function with a large financial services organization.
• Strong loan administration management background required.
• Relevant financial reporting and analysis experience.
