Description
• Working independently or in team settings, assist staff and line management from multiple business areas to maximize the efficient use of the TSYS Consumer Credit Card Platform (TS2), the TSYS Commercial Credit Card Platform (TS2 - Commercial) and related systems.
• Responsibilities may include working with various technical and business resources to explore and potentially implement the integration of TS2 Consumer or Commercial data into core bank systems to provide for a more seamless customer experience and support bank products.
• Work will involve supporting business systems and operations within the Consumer Baking and Commercial Banking division and may include implementing regulatory changes, new software platforms or new business practices.
• Analyze, design, test and implement application enhancements, upgrades and solutions to Credit Card production issues.
• Participate in the launch of new Credit Card products and features.
• Meet all mandatory project delivery dates.
• Work with the management team and peers to define the needs and objectives which will further assist in automating functions and streamlining operations while continually improving the customer experience.
• Provide technical support for complex system application(s).
• Work with and/or lead other technical credit card Business Systems Analysts to formulate and document solutions, technical flows and track progress.
• Work with the management team and peers to define requirements for system enhancements.
• Provide expert advice to business lines for system changes.
• Collect, review and analyze system related changes to ensure compliance with department SLAs, policies, procedures, and/or regulatory and risk requirements.
• Initiate complex solutions associated with Credit Card transactions in order to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Provide assistance to colleagues and customers associated with the implementation of new/updated processes.
• Manage multiple small to medium scale projects. The incumbent may also be responsible for project coordination or management, project related research/business analysis, requirements writing, testing, test script creation and/or test script execution. Includes working with the management team in module management and capacity tracking to complement project on-boarding.
• Act as a liaison between Operations, product management, programmers and/or vendors to address system enhancements.
• Offer recommendations and solutions to management and peers based on system expertise.
• Other duties may include TS2 Consumer and TS2 Commercial system administration functions, monitoring and reporting on the utilization of enhancements, managing TSYS and staff interactions, participating on TS2/TSYS user committees and user groups as appropriate, coordinating operational run rate, project estimates and other reporting activities.
• This position requires the ability to make well informed business decisions while working independently and in group settings. The ideal candidate possesses very strong analytical and reporting skills and is able to gather and translate high level and detailed business requirements in a large organizational setting. The ability to communicate with multiple levels of end users and management in an appropriate manner is essential.
Qualifications
◦ 5+ years of experience in Credit Card technology preferred.
◦ Ability to make well informed business decisions while working independently and in group settings.
◦ Ability to create solutions for complex problems or system changes.
◦ Superior written and verbal communication skills; ability to deliver impactful concise messages to management.
◦ Strong organization and time management skills.
◦ Strong ability to multi-task.
◦ Advanced MS Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint experience.
◦ Strong interpersonal skills.
◦ Quantitative & qualitative reasoning skills.
◦ Project Management and Business Process Development experience.
◦ Strong fundamental knowledge of computers; mainframe, personal and distributed computers, and software applications for areas supported.
◦ Knowledge of programming, systems analysis and testing principles.
◦ Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle.
◦ Educational, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials:
◦ Bachelor Degree preferred.
◦ Knowledge of the TSYS TS2 Consumer and Commercial processing systems is advantageous
◦ Ability to travel.
