What does a great Manager, Security Analysis do?
In this leadership role you will be responsible for providing day to day operational & strategic leadership to the team receiving and processing requests for SSL Certificates on a daily basis, working with the platform owners (XML, Mainframe, Linux/Unix, Windows) to ensure their requests are processed in a timely fashion and tracked in the system of record. Working proactively to avoid incidents, this role will serve to inform, provide and follow-up on all SSL certificate related requests. SSL Certificates are at the heart of many Fiserv web and mobile applications, ensuring an accurate and complete inventory exists as well as a documented process is followed is essential to supporting our Clients.
As a Manager, Security Analysis you can look forward to:
• Serving as a working leader, providing daily guidance to the team and assisting with the request queue, this role will
• Serve as the liaison between the Business Division SSL Certificate owners and approvers, ensuring their requests are documented and fulfilled as expected per the established process.
• Server as the liaison between Business Division & Enterprise Technology leaders to ensure the processes, tools and related aspects are functioning as expected, gathering feedback/input to improve the operation.
• Be accountable for all aspects of the Certificate Management lifecycle from procurement to validation, ensuring all tasks are performed as expected, escalating any issues as needed.
• Handle escalations as needed for SSL Certificate related issues (request, procurement, tracking)
• Assist where needed to receive and process requests for new/renewed SSL Certificates within the established SLA
• Participate in all related Problem Management/RCA activities to determine the source of SSL certificate incidents, feeding the learnings back into the process for continuous improvement.
• Deliver regular stakeholder updates/awareness to process changes, process performance and process compliance.
• Ensure that all certificates are processed/ordered in the source of record, ensure all necessary data fields are populated.
• Publish proactive reporting to stakeholders & platform owners, driving awareness to pending certificate expirations.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems / Technology or High School diploma and specific practical work experience
• Minimum 3 years people leadership
• Minimum 3 years experience working in an information security operations or engineering group
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability to multi-task and work effectively in a distributed and matrix oriented environment
