The Global Partner Digital team is part of the Enterprise Digital & Analytics (ED&A) organization within Global Consumer Services Group (GCSG) at American Express. This is a central team which provides best-in-class digital experience for our co-brand partners both in the U.S. and within the International Markets.
We are looking for a Product Analyst to join our Global Partner Digital Experience team. This team is responsible for integrating Digital Card Shop and Card Applications with the co-brand partner websites. As a Product Analyst, you need to manage the roadmap for each of the features and capabilities for the banner placement, co-brand card shop experience and application capture process. This will allow customers originating from partner website to submit American Express co-brand credit card applications with all the features that the digital application team will provide.
This challenging and exciting position within the EDA organization will play a pivotal role in defining and prioritizing the team backlog, ensure that the product solution meets the program priorities and serves as the quality gatekeeper empowered to accept new stories. It requires a candidate with a broad range of skills and experience, including marketing knowledge of digital conversion and web experience
Responsibilities include:
• Digital Product Ownership of application enablement features for the US and international markets
• Develop innovative customer facing application journeys which leveraging new technology infrastructure with the goal of increasing application complete and approval rates (UX/UI)
• Collaborate closely with technology partners to implement prioritized backlog features
• Creating, maintaining, and prioritizing the product backlog
• Participation in all Scrum ceremonies with the engineering team
• Assist with the elaboration of stories, epics, themes, and features
• Support application processing architecture changes from business point of view
Qualifications
Required Skills:
• Experience as a Product Analyst; 1+ years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree is requried
• Ability in translating business needs into User Stories, following Agile methodology are highly desired
• Describe the user experience and product features
• Update UX/Feature description and business model
• Collaborate with development team
• Coordinate with the scrum teams working on the product backlog within the department
• Develop epics, story boards, and user stories with stakeholders (both internal and external).
• Manage Stakeholders
• Define and contribute to product roadmap
• Decide what to do next - Set the sprint goal and detail stories
• Strong analytic approach to set and validate goals
• Track project progress
• Coordinate project launch
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to summarize complex analyses for various audiences
• Experience with JIRA, Rally, and Confluence are pluses
• Experience with analytics suites like Adobe nice to have
