Description
The HC Systems Director provides the long and short-term strategic direction, system design, maintenance, reporting, analytics and project management for the Human Resource Information Systems System. This role manages the entire suite of modules in Oracle and Taleo (Recruiting, Onboarding, Learn, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Performance, Time & Attendance, Absence, and Reporting and Analytics). The role will work with Leadership and Stakeholders across the organization to identify gaps and needs of focus.
Major Areas of Accountability
• Build, recommend and maintain a strategic roadmap for the Human Capital initiatives and steady state activities (technology and non-technology ), to ensure a planned approach, including but not limited to:
O Assessing strategic alternatives relative to group
◦ Ensuring business cases are built to warrant investment
◦ Ensuring proper management of scope, timeline and resources
◦ Overseeing strategic plans to ensure buy-in from across HC and other groups (as required)
• Ensure the effective execution all HC projects in alignment with enterprise PMO and HC strategy.
• Ensure project management work related to acquisitions and divestitures meet all required activities for due diligence and integration activities are executed successfully with a deep understanding of the manager and employee experience.
• Act as the internal expert for project management by maintaining strong industry and external HR knowledge of applicable trends and impacts
• Oversee key HR projects to ensure that needs are fully understood and executed against within the project scope
• Oversee department functions of the Human Resource Information Management systems
• Oversee the design, development and implementation of future Oracle Cloud HCM modules to meet the requirements of the business
• Provide technical consultation, expertise and oversight for the existing HR Oracle Cloud modules and recommend and assist in implementing enhancements and procedures
• Escalate complex technical issues to appropriate vendor(s) and or IT and drive to resolution
• Lead systems implementation of various technological advancements in the HC Systems area as needed. Partner with IT resources within TCF to design and support integrated solutions for the future
• Own the integrity of all HC systems and critical interfaces in and out of the Oracle database
• Monitor inquiries & problem resolution while ensuring report of significant trends and progress as a regular occurrence
• Manage the development of HC Systems/PMO team members:
• Provide necessary work direction to HC Systems/PMO team members and manage projects effectively through planning, organization and project management
• Act as escalation point for issues and provide leadership and guidance to team
Minimum Qualifications
Education
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology or equivalent work experience
Preferred:
• Master in Business Administration
Work Experience/Skills:
Required:
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Human Capital and HC Systems, and supervisory experience.
• Experience with Human Capital technologies preferable Oracle
• Demonstrated strong project management skills. High level communication and organization skills are a must

Supervisory Responsibilities
• Lead a team of System Analyst
