The ETF Product Marketer will be responsible for supporting NYLIM’s suite of ETFs (exchange-traded funds), which are managed by IndexIQ and other MainStay boutiques. The ideal candidate will have a strong investment marketing background to coordinate the development of ETF marketing content and lead integrated marketing campaigns in support of the IndexIQ ETF product line.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Design, develop and execute ETF marketing plans and content to support key products across asset classes.
• Partner with product management and investment partners on the idea generation and creation of new product marketing materials in various formats, including blogs, webcasts, videos, brochures, presentations, flyers and digital representation of such materials.
• Plan and implement integrated marketing campaigns to increase IndexIQ’s brand and product awareness and client engagement.
• Partner with key internal business teams to lead campaign efforts including: digital marketing, segment marketing, distribution teams, business intelligence, and compliance.
• Lead the marketing aspect of new ETF product launches and initiatives by designing comprehensive roadmaps that include the creation of new product marketing materials and plans for bringing them to market.
• Coordinate monthly and quarterly marketing material updates, leading the efforts to ensure product positioning remains appropriate and is consistent throughout the update process.
Skills and Qualifications:
• BA/BS required; concentration in marketing, finance or communications a plus
• 3+ years of investment marketing experience, with a focus on ETFs strongly preferred
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work at a strategic and a tactical level
• Curiosity, flexibility, strong sense of ownership and pro-active in nature
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high performing team environment; collaborating with others as well as working independently
• Strong project management skills
• Dynamic, high-reaching, creative and innovative focus
• Strong PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office software skills
• Should have Series 7 or be willing to acquire Series 7 within 6 months of hire
