Specialist, Product Management - Credit Products & Partnerships, North America
Overview
• The U.S. Core Consumer Credit focuses on company-wide efforts in driving overall market share, transaction volume, and profitable revenue growth for Mastercard's consumer credit portfolios in the market, actively collaborating with internal teams across Mastercard as well as external parties – issuing customers, merchants, strategic alliance partners, and fintechs – to build unique customer and consumer value propositions
• Collaborate with internal teams across MasterCard (including market development, digital partnerships, U.S. debit, U.S. prepaid, product marketing, and issuer marketing) to help in building and launching innovative product solutions, targeted to capture current and future card spending volume
• Help develop and manage experiential assets and associated consumer experiences to drive usage and differentiate Mastercard from its network competition, thereby building preference for Mastercard products
• Support in managing the lifecycle of existing partnerships and benefits for credit and for supporting sales team with presentations
• Understand and track competitive offerings and industry trends of new technologies and products in addition to assessing fintech players and third party vendors in sourcing new features / capabilities that can be delivered via Mastercard
Role
• Support development of core product benefits and solutions – via merchants, fintechs, and third party vendors – that deliver a superior edge to Mastercard card products in the U.S., including in-depth understanding of back-end platforms and processes, customer experience, and value propositions for Mastercard customers and cardholders
• Collaborate with loyalty, market development, digital partnerships, as well as product, issuer, and merchant marketing to support end-to-end launches of new constructs and features
• Develop selling materials to engage account teams and issuers on product opportunities, innovations, and product advancements with support of marketing and loyalty as well as account team / issuer feedback
• Engage with marketing and account teams to help drive promotion and usage of Mastercard-sourced benefits
• Work with third party (merchant and fintech) partners as well as sales teams on issuer-specific customization opportunities
• Partner closely with the Start Path team and monitor the landscape of competitive (network and issuer) products, benefits, and capabilities as well as industry trends, understanding their implications for MasterCard
• Own and manage analytics projects related to new merchant partnership opportunities as well as tracking success of existing partnerships and benefits
