Director, Product Management - Commercial Products, US
Overview:
The NAM NEW PAYMENT FLOWS TEAM is accountable for growing our market share in both carded and non-carded market segments, including: business to business (B2B), government to business (G2B), and government to government (G2G). This team works closely with our Global Product partners, Operations & Technology partners, business development, and account teams in the region to accelerate the commercialization of products and services that will significantly grow our revenue and market share in the region. We are looking for an experienced payments product professional to manage product development and go to market activities across the North American Region.
Role:
Consults with US customer account managers and their respective bank customers and prospects to assess and identify business needs and develop Commercial product/service recommendations. Serves as deep technical expert on Commercial products, platforms and services (e.g. InControl, SmartData, B2B Hub). Advises Sales teams in the development of sales strategy and execution for the most significant/complex Commercial opportunities, including proposal development, business and financial term negotiation and closing of deals.
• Develop critical end to end product management plans and drive the execution of all product development initiatives for the North American market
• Responsible for effectively communicating product innovation and strategic thought leadership activities to all relevant parties in the region for both Fleet and B2B Solutions business segments
• Lead the development of the strategy, tactics, and execution plans in support of all Fleet and B2B Payment Solutions product ecosystem participants, including: issuers, merchants, acquirers, strategic partners, industry organizations, and other industry stakeholders
• Work closely with business and external stakeholders to ensure effective two-way communications regarding collection of business requirements and communication of key product decisions, plans, and releases
• Develop, determine, and evaluate business cases for proposed product developments to drive intelligent prioritization
• Manage and expand oil company alliances, external fleet management partnerships, and grow adoption in key fleet spend categories, such as: major fuel merchants, vehicle fleet maintenance, EMV adoption, and providers of various fuel/fleet related services
ALL ABOUT YOU:
• Fleet and/or B2B Payment Solutions business management, and/or product management
• Deep understanding of Fleet and/or B2B customer business processes/needs and the ability to translate those into business and product requirements
• Possesses prior Corporate/Commercial Banking experience
• Able to influence external customers and internal business partners, at all levels, and drive towards results, without direct management authority
• Analytical, solutions-oriented skillset with the ability to drive thought leadership in the Fleet and/or B2B payments spaces
• P&L/program leadership experience and business acumen with the ability to provide solutions that drive the growth of MasterCard transactions and products

Education/Certification Requirements
• Bachelors degree in business or relevant experience, MBA preferred
