Description
As a member of the Technology & Operations organization you will be part of the team that serves the needs of Santander Bank, N.A., including products and services for personal, business and corporate customers. The Technology Team supports the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of all banking systems. This team has the expertise and commitment to develop high-quality solutions to meet the needs of a fast-paced and complex operating environment.
The Operations Team supports the processing for all the bank’s transaction channels. Each day, this team excels when faced with opportunities and challenges to make a meaningful, error-free difference for our customers.
• Responsible for creating servicing loan files by combining collateral and credit documents. Review documents for accuracy and to assure compliance with Santander.
• Government and Investor regulations.
• Ensure all state specific document requirements have been met.
• Review all open underwriting conditions to assure they have been met and resolve in the Secondary system.
• Comply to our Service Level Agreement with the Servicing Department. Timely completion of all Compliance Testing and remain up to date on rules and regulations of Santander and the mortgage industry.
• Communicate information on missing or incorrect documentation to the responsible party.
• Continuous follow up on outstanding items needed for servicing loan file.
• Provide consistent quality customer service to both internal and external customers to meet or exceed Santander standards.
• Update Secondary system to reflect any issues that require resolution, mark the loan for required follow up and notate the status of the audit process.
• Review documents for compliance to Bank.
• Government and Investor guidelines and regulations and note any missing, required documents on the checklist.
• Assemble servicing loan files using established procedures and checklist.
Qualifications
• One year Retail Mortgage experience is desirable.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High attention to detail,Knowledge of mortgage process helpful.
• Research and resolve issues,Set priorities to ensure deadlines are met while working in a fast paced high pressure environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
