Job Description
This position will provide financial business support for various groups in the Key Technology & Operations (KTO) organization. The individual will report to the Senior Finance Director and will be responsible for designing, developing and producing financial reporting and analysis to serve our business clients and assist in cross functional activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Support the KTO month-end closing process by consolidating and developing supporting commentary on financial results
• Perform financial analysis to identify areas for financial performance improvement. Effectively communicate results, insights, and recommendations to the KTO Finance team and KTO Leadership team
• Develop systemic benchmarking analysis to present to KTO Senior and LOB leadership. Actively maintain Apptio cost transparency tool and facilitate buy/sell discussions at KTO Senior and Leadership level
• Review and assist in the development of LOB tech initiatives and present these cases to KTO Finance leadership in preparation for monthly and quarterly governance meetings.
• Support the technology investment portfolio and the project managers aligned to these projects. Provide analysis on the effectiveness of project management capabilities (i.e. performance vs. plan)
• Maintain consolidated views of Risks & Opportunities to ensure that KTO business partners are meeting performance targets.
• Actively participate in special projects and other requests as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field is required
• 5 years+ of analytical experience in Finance, Business, as well technology organizations
• Experience providing decision support and building client relationships
Technical/Business Acumen:
• Strong financial and/or accounting acumen
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
• MS Office with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Financial modeling and reporting using financial systems (Hyperion, Essbase, IBM TM1, Cognos)
• Understand and communicate correlation between financial results and critical business drivers/measures

• Organized self-starter with the ability to think and work independently and creatively; detail oriented with the ability to thoroughly analyze and resolve issues with limited direction
• Curious and proactive personality; interested in pursuing information/details to aid in big picture/“connecting the dots”
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish solid working relationships with multiple teams and individuals with varying levels of expertise
• Proactive communicator – willingness to pick up the phone to consult with and inform others
• Effective communicator - verbal, written, and listening - at various levels of the organization including senior executives
• Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met and quality standards achieved
• Passion for continuous improvement especially related to process, accuracy and details.
