Executive Compensation Analyst- part time
Position Overview:
Responsible for the day-to-day activities administering Long-Term Incentive (LTI) awards including equity-based awards (Restricted Stock Units, Performance Stock Units and Stock Options) and certain Cash awards.
The role requires analysis, assessment and review to determine appropriate actions and outcomes. All applicable reconciliations, reviews and sign-offs must be conducted and completed as required.
The role involves coordination with MMC’s stock plan services provider and internal areas such as HR, Legal, Finance, Payrolls and HRIS.
Responsibilities:
• Restricted stock unit and cash award distributions: Including share distributions at the Company's stock plan services provider and cash payments through local payrolls. Activities include creating, reviewing and reconciling payroll files and arranging for sign-offs; distribution of payroll files to payrolls globally; sending reports to Finance and other applicable departments.
• Stock option exercise transactions: Including tax rate reviews, payroll and accounting reports and working with the stock plan services provider as applicable.
• Dividend equivalent payments: Including creating and reconciling dividend equivalent payment files and sending the files to the applicable payrolls globally.
• LTI Reporting: Including providing LTI reports and data as requested, researching and resolving exception reports, etc.
• LTI Award Termination Processing: Including reviewing terminated employees' awards to ensure appropriate treatment is applied on the stock database (including forfeitures, distributions, etc.)
• Month-end reconciliations: Assisting with month-end reconciliations of equity-based and cash awards including researching and resolving discrepancies and maintaining a daily transaction tracking log.
• New Grants: Assisting with the monthly new grant process.
Qualifications
• College degree or Associate’s degree preferred
• Prior equity compensation and/or stock plan administration experience or related experience strongly preferred (minimum 2+ years)
• Strong analytical and technical abilities
• NASPP training/coursework or advancement towards Certified Equity Professional (CEP) certification and/or WorldatWork certification preferred but not required
