Highly-motivated, personable Public Relations Professional with 2+ years’ experience in media relations and/or social media management. Efficient communicator with exceptional time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. Has natural intellectual curiosity. Excellent knowledge of print and broadcast media as well as Creative Cloud.
Areas of Responsibility
• Strategize and execute content postings for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Pinterest Social Media platforms
• Style, shoot and edit both photos and videos
• iPhone, DSLR photography, videography and styling experience
• Comfortable being behind and in front of the camera
• Strategize, develop, edit and post photo, video and social copy content
• Manage influencer outreach and company Blog
• Cultivate and engage the Social Media community
• Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice
• Be a student of the social landscape. This means proactively following platform updates, trends, user behaviors and use cases, forming opinions and sharing this with the team.
• Own the content publishing and community management process. This includes, but is not limited to, content development, scheduling, publishing and responding. Monitor social channels, engage and respond to social conversations (mentions on social feeds, direct messaging, customer service comments, emails etc.) in real-time
• Manage ongoing social influencer efforts for brand and partnership initiatives
• Assist the Social Media Manager in the development and execution of all aspects of social media
• Creates reports and spreadsheets.
• Partner with creative, media and community relations teams for social efforts as needed.
• Measurement, analysis and reporting of social efforts
• Act as a point of contact for media liaison
• Plan and direct communication strategies related to community events
Qualifications
• Must be fun and thrive in a teamwork-centered environment
• Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is preferred
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Passionate for the social media landscape and an avid personal user of multiple platforms
• Organized, detail-orientated and proactive
• Superior communication skills (written and personal)
• Excellent judgement
• MS Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated expertise in content management systems
• Proven ability to manage social media metrics
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
