Summary
The National Assurance Project Manager oversees a large scale, multi-year project with multiple stakeholders within the organization. S/he is a self-starter and possess strong leadership skills. S/he leads teams of professionals that deliver a firm-wide solutions to accomplish business goals and objectives with technology infrastructure components.
• Project Management: S/he is in charge of schedules, budgets, resources and deliverables for project. S/he monitors teams to make sure goals and objectives are being kept and reports back progress. S/he will have understanding of the projects overall strategic objective in order to best manage the granular details of tracking project health, alerting for risk and resolving issues as they arise. S/he maintains standards and monitors scope with project quality
• Relationship Management: S/he leads a diverse team by promoting a team-oriented environment and maintaining strong relationships with National Assurance, Business Technology and Information Technology staff within the firm. S/he is agile and able to redirect teams based on stakeholder feedback.
Requirements
Key Experiences
• Successfully able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• IT/.com/software implementation exposure
• Familiarity with Agile or Six Sigma project management methodologies
• Basic knowledge of Accounting/Auditing
• Resourcefulness; able to build consensus and solution driven
Requirements
• 5 years experience working in project management. Expertise with related project management software tools including but not limited to JIRA, Microsoft Project, ProjectManager.com, MS Excel, etc.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required or 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
