RSM is looking for a dynamic Client Account Manager who will be responsible for driving revenue with existing Technology & Management Consulting (TMC) clients, focusing on TMC services including business applications, infrastructure, IT managed services and management consulting.
The Client Account Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of the sales process for new initiatives, including systematic client targeting, developing opportunity-specific sales strategy, developing of client account expansion plans, selecting pursuit teams and “quarterbacking” the entire sales process.
This individual will be a growth leader and support the efforts of various firm growth teams through direct prospecting, networking/participation with various industry groups and networking associations. They will also work with technology channel partners like Microsoft and/or NetSuite to identify solutions for existing client accounts.
Responsibilities:
• Identify, target and sell RSM’s TMC solutions to current RSM clients; execute the sales plan and process, including the coordination of all necessary resources to best position the firm to secure new business.
• Implement team strategy for driving revenue with existing client accounts; work with Partners, Directors and other client servers to prioritize existing firm clients, and create client expansion account plans to include cross-selling of opportunities outside of the TMC services when appropriate.
• Achieve stated growth goals through demonstrated mastery of services offerings, account plan execution and sales process best practices implementation.
• Work closely with existing account teams to review pipeline, client feedback and status of client projects; communicate with consultants regarding upcoming and ongoing client projects; assist in making resourcing recommendations for upcoming projects.
• Work closely with local and national marketing resources to develop effective, targeted go-to-market plans for RSM clients within targeted markets and/or industries.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of client opportunities.
• Work closely with National Sales Organization management to provide ongoing, current feedback relative to market opportunities within the firm’s CRM.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 5+ years of professional services sales and/or account management experience, preferably in a consulting firm environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of prior experience selling ERP and/or CRM solutions.
• Prior experience working with client accounts to resolve complex client needs and issues.
• Prior experience leveraging a CRM tool for report generation and sales tracking.
• Prior solution-selling training is a plus, including programs developed by Microsoft and/or NetSuite for their respective channels.
• Prior experience in developing relationships with Technology Channel Partners, including Microsoft and/or NetSuite.
• Exhibit exceptionally strong communication, presentation, analytical and organizational skills.
• Travel is required (local and overnight when appropriate).
Preferred Qualifications:
• Software sales experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Netsuite, or Intacct.
• Familiarity with third party solutions to extend these platforms.
