Job Description
POSITION OBJECTIVES
Sales
• Work with and entertain complicated high net worth personal, business, and CRE clients; Cross-sell bank products and services through a consultative needs based selling approach; Create sales opportunities and close business, from existing and perspective clients; Manage and grow assigned book of business; Consistently achieve and exceed sales goals; Coordinate the opening of new CRE client accounts; Work with loan officers, processors, underwriters, attorneys, brokers, and closers to facilitate loan origination, closing and management; Attend loan closings to on-board new CRE clients; Coordinate business services with Cash Management, Branches, Loan Servicing and Loan Officers;
Book of Business Management
• Manage a book of business of high net worth business and CRE clients with complex corporate structures and complicated high level business banking needs.
Client Relationships
• Assist customers with questions and resolve issues relating to accounts and bank products; Work independently to identify, explore and acquire potential new customers by prospecting and networking with businesses and COI's; Formulate and execute strategies to generate new low cost escrow/business/personal deposits; Develop and present relevant business proposals to acquire new relationships with new customers and/or prospects.Provide exceptional costumer service, ensuring continued customer satisfaction and retention of existing clients; Dedicates his/her financial knowledge and banking expertise to the community by sitting on non-profit boards and participating in associations within the business community;
Coaching/Development
• Coach and teach branch employees to support business banking needs; Identify Branch Managers to attend business banking events; Coach Branch Managers on managing business banking relationships at the branch; and coach Branch Managers on networking with business banking clients;
CRE Maintenance and Reporting
• Maintain CRE files and provide reports to management on activity and leads; Create better informing reports; Provide activity reports to management; Complete file maintenance as needed
Requirements
• High School Diploma required
• 10+ years of related banking experience
• Successful Completion of Omega Lending for small business loans or equilvilant training
• Successful Completion of Omega Lending for CRE loans or equivilant training
• Extensive knowledge of Investors banking systems and franchise network
• Extensive knowledge of account opening procedures and documentation requirements
• Strong sales and communication skills
• High degree of attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (knowledge of Microsoft Access not required)
• Report to Short Hills, NJ: 75% travel is required throughout New Jersey. Some NYC events/appointments as needed
